our partners

  • Markus Berger and Ayako Maruyama are Providence residents and RISD professors teaching in the departments of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design, respectively. They  are dedicated to how we reconceptualize “waste”, how we apply principles of circular economies, as well as how we engage with our community around these themes of reharvest and repair.

  • We are delighted to be partnering with Carbon Graph, who are developing an innovative and intuitive Life Cycle Assessment software. Our partnership is both for research and pedagogy.

  • Louise has been graciously invited to participate in ‘Preferred Futures’ as part of matriarchal design futures, co-created by fellow design colleagues Heather Quinn Snyder and Ayako Takase. Louise’s contribution is centered on critical stakeholder shift to the environment and away from solely human driven need.
